Tapì presents Dual Shield, a revolution in the concept of closures – the first cap whose barrier performance adapts over time to the evolving needs of the wine inside, while keeping the aromatic component fully intact.

Dual Shield is the first closure in the world that guarantees:

• Selective oxygen permeability: the winemaker can now choose from an almost unlimited assortment of oxygen barriers. This makes it possible to decide how long the wine will take to achieve optimal complexity. Barrier levels range from 0.5 mm3 to 2.5 mm3 a day.
• Aromatic absorption is minimalized, so as to maintain a red wine’s aromatic complexity over the years, or guarantee freshness of the aromas in a white or rosé.
